With the next semester coming up, we are looking for new members to join our orchestra!
In the Winter-Semester 22/23 we are playing pieces composed by Beethoven and Bruckner. You can find our detailed Programme here.
For the upcoming semester we are especially looking for all strings, woodwinds, harp, horn, trombone, tuba and percussion. players. We will inform about the date for auditions here soon. You can find more information here.
About us
We are a large symphonic orchestra, characterized by ambitious rehearsals, demanding musical programs and inspiring concerts. The orchestra consists primarily of students in the Heidelberg/Mannheim region.
Since winter semester 2023 Ilya Ram is its conductor.

CD Production Gustav Mahler Symphony No. 5
For our 10 year anniversary we recorded a CD with Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 5 in summer 2016. You can purchase the CD at our concerts or online.
Covid-project: Kalinnikov
A small excerpt of last semester's program! Even though we could not meet in person, we desperately wanted to make music. So we had no other choice than to do an online project!
