Notes on data security

The Akademische Philharmonie Heidelberg (APH) only processes personal data within the framework of legal provisions, especially the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act) and the Telemediengesetz (Telemedia Act).

That means that processing of personal data takes place only in two cases: There is either a legal exception from the general ban on processing personal data or the customer has expressly consented to the storing of his data by the APH.

All persons involved in the online ticket selling are committed to data confidentiality in accordance with § 5 Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act).

A visit to the homepage of the APH without placing an order for tickets or CDs will not entail any collection of personal data. Only as part of the ordering process, the APH records in its customer file name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the customer via the order form.

All data recorded will exclusively be used for internal purposes and not be given to third parties.
